Our 2025 Charity Impact
During 2025, Positive Lending proudly supported Ringwood Foodbank and Julia’s House Children’s Hospice as our chosen charities. As part of our commitment, 100% of advertising and editorial fees from our Positively Speaking magazine were donated directly to these charities. Alongside additional fundraising activity, this support helped fund essential services for families facing financial hardship and life-limiting illness. We are extremely grateful to everyone who contributed and helped make a real difference throughout the year.

Our 2026 Chosen Charities
For 2026, Positive Lending is proud to support Julia’s House Children’s Hospice and Alzheimer’s Society, two charities providing life-changing support to families at some of the most challenging times in their lives. Paul McGonigle Raises £7,225 for Alzheimer’s Society

Positive Lending CEO and Founder, Paul McGonigle, has successfully completed a solo 84-mile (135km) trek along Hadrian’s Wall in honour of his father and in support of Alzheimer’s Society.

Taking on the challenge over four days, Paul completed the trek on 21st September, World Alzheimer’s Day, raising £7,225 and an additional £1,101 in gift aid for a cause that is very close to his heart.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported Paul and donated to his fundraising. Your generosity will help Alzheimer’s Society provide vital support to people affected by dementia, fund research and campaign for better care and support.

We’re incredibly proud of Paul for taking on such a demanding challenge and grateful to everyone who helped him along the way.

Positive Lending Raises £9,279 for Julia’s House

As part of our 2026 charity fundraising programme, the Positive Lending team, alongside several lender partners, successfully completed a charity trek along the Jurassic Coast in support of Julia’s House Children’s Hospice.

Despite challenging weather, the team completed either a 15-mile or 10-mile route, raising an incredible £9,303.15 and an additional £1,040 in gift aid for the charity.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, donated and supported the trek. Your generosity will help Julia’s House continue providing vital care and support to children with life-limited and life-threatening conditions, and their families.

Julia’s House Children’s Hospice provides frequent, flexible care for children with life-limited or life-threatening conditions, giving families vital respite, comfort and emotional support.

Care is delivered both in the family home and at the hospice, helping children to be supported in familiar surroundings while parents receive much-needed breaks. Julia’s House must raise 93% of the funding it needs each year to continue delivering this essential service.

Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading dementia charity, providing vital support to people living with dementia and the families who care for them. The charity offers expert information, practical guidance, and emotional support, while also funding groundbreaking research and campaigning for change.

With dementia affecting hundreds of thousands of families across the UK, Alzheimer’s Society plays a crucial role in ensuring no one faces the condition alone.
